Missions

The purpose of Missions at Valley Bible Church is to fulfill the Great Commission given to us by Jesus Christ.  We reach out to the unsaved beyond our local sphere of influence in an intentional way:  by showing the love of Jesus Christ through ministering to human need; by assisting in church planting beyond our borders; and by supporting those who are called to serve.

Rick & Jenny Benson - Utah, U.S.

Rick & Jenny are ministering to youth and adults at a Christian camp/ranch in Ferron, Utah. The 777 Ranch was established as a Christian "working horse ranch", and is highly equipped with personnel & lodging for hosting Pastor's conferences, all-age youth camps, counseling and out-reach training seminars. Glenn & Patty Davis - Colombia

Glenn and Patti, along with their daughter Candy, are serving on a church-planting mission in the town of Santa Marta, on the coast of Colombia. They have successfully planted one church which is growing steadily and seeing many new converts to the Gospel.

Duane & Lori Delzur - Bolivia

Duane & Lori serve in the highland town of Sucre, where they prepare training materials in the native Quechua language for helping Bolivian nationals to spread the Gospel. Duane also serves as an elder in their local church.

Gene & Nancy Goertzen - Southwestern U.S.

Gene & Nancy serve full-time with Awana Clubs, Intl, working with churches in support of their clubs throughout the southwestern U.S. and Hawaii.

Jerry & Charlene Holmes - Paraguay

Jerry & Charlene have recently retired from over 30+ years on the mission field, where they preached the gospel and equipped nationals through Bible study and leadership training in the country of Paraguay, South America.

Lupe & Eduarda Juarez - Mexico

Pastor Lupe ministers to the people of Tijuana at this evangelical mission church, El Nuevo Pacto, and beyond. He has a passion to reach as many neighborhoods with the Gospel as he can.

Bob & Mary Nell Klein - U.S.

The Klein family has been serving with Campus Crusade for Christ's Student Venture in Ohio, U.S. for several years, reaching the youth of America with the Gospel.  They will soon be transitioning to a new ministry within Campus Crusade, working with CC's humanitarian aid division. More information will be available soon.

Terry & Lora Kleinjan - Japan

Terry & Lora are missionaries with World Venture currently serving in Tokyo, Japan. Terry manages the financial activities of World Venture for the Asian region.  The Kleinjans also minister through church-planting, discipleship, hospitality, evangelism and Bible studies.  http://www.worldventure.com/

Bob & Ruth Wantz - Peru

Bob & Ruth have been in Peru for 8 years, working with two other couples to plant a church in the city of Arequipa.  Their church, El Camino, currently has 200+ attendees and is reaching many people with the good news.

Mark & Carolyn Williams - U.S.

Mark works full-time as Vice President for Training at Dynamic Church Planting International, whose mission is to train and equip leaders and churches to plant up to one million new churches around the globe.  Mark often travels the world giving seminars to church leaders and pastors.  You can learn more about DCPI's ministry by visiting their website at http://www.dcpi.org/ .

Jim & Tessie Wroth - Southeast Asia
