Employing Your Experiences
Experience is one of life’s greatest teachers – and God often uses it to shape us into the men and women he needs us to be. Moses didn’t lead the People of Israel out of Egypt until he was about 80. Meanwhile, Jesus didn’t perform his first miracle until the age of 30. During these extended periods of time, both Moses and Jesus discovered their missions – and how to perform their purpose effectively. What have your past experiences taught you? The highest points and the lowest points can often be springboards for serving God. Whether you excelled at math in school or floundered, you can use your experience to connect with others. Whether you had wonderful parents or harsh parents, you can use your experience to relate to others. God gives us experiences so that we, as the body of Christ, can connect with the diverse world around us.

The Purpose of Your God-Given Personality
What is PERSONALITY? It is our unique set of personal traits and preferences. It’s how we react to things, how we do things, how we relate to people, and how we prefer to live. Personality is who we really are and what we’re really like; it is our personal uniqueness. It was God’s plan to design each of us differently. There is no right or wrong personality. God made you to be you, and me to be me. Each one of us has a personality that was crafted to serve God. When we stop fighting our natural characteristics and start embracing them, we can make a far larger difference in the world around us.

    Using Your God-Given Abilities
What are you really good at? Painting? Counseling? Maybe you’ve never met a car problem you couldn’t repair, or you’re an amazing chef. Perhaps you just find opportunities to help people wherever you go. Whatever your talent or skill is, guess what? God’s behind it! But He doesn’t bless us with talents or skills so we can get noticed or earn lots of cash. Yes, that can be a result of it. But it’s so much bigger than that. God wants us to honor Him with those gifts! He wants us to be “good and faithful servants” with our talents. How exactly does God want us to use our talents for Him? Let's listen to today's message and find out.

    Your God-Given Heart and Passion
In this third installment of the SHAPE series, Pastor Kevin explores how God uses your HEART (your interests, passions and desires) to serve Him and others.  "As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the person.”, Proverbs 27:19 (NLT).  Let's listen as Pastor Kevin identifies five things that can keep us from following our God-given heart.

    Unwrapping Your Spiritual Gifts
Spiritual gifts are something every believer is given when they receive the gift of salvation.  Just as the gift of salvation is by grace through faith, so are the spiritual gifts.  Our God is so generous.  He is constantly giving us things.  “Christ has generously divided out his gifts to us.” (Ephesians 4:7 CEV).  It’s His grace at work in our lives. Today Pastor Kevin discusses in the second lesson of his S.H.A.P.E. series, the four gifts you'll receive when Christ saves you.  Also, he will explain the four steps to using your spiritual gits.  If you would like to take your free S.H.A.P.E. test that Pastor Kevin mentioned in today's message, you can find the link to it here: https://www.freeshapetest.com/

Why Are You in the S.H.A.P.E. You’re In?
Today Pastor Kevin will begin a new series titled, "Getting into Spiritual "S.H.A.P.E.".  Now the word SHAPE in this instance is an acrostic that Pastor Kevin will explain in this lesson. God made us for a purpose. Psalm 139:13-14 (NKJV) says, "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well".  And your SHAPE reveals God's purpose for you.
